SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The service sassa status level produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all prospects and raise entry status sassa to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
